Once again I participated at the APS Global Physics Summit, this year in Denver (Colorado 🇺🇸), supporting the staff as APS Student Ambassador. Some clear highlights of the Global Physics Summit 2026 were for me personally:

• Presenting my recently started master thesis about superconducting qubits at elevated frequencies during the APS poster session.

• Giving an APS-internal invited talk together with my German Ambassador Colleagues Cyrus Walther, Mario Gaimann, Jan Willeke, Irene Carrión López, Samuel McLoughlin about a 4 day APS event we organized in January.

• Answering questions regarding APS Membership and its Ambassador program as well as volunteering for the APS at the Membership Booth in the APS Village (located in the exhibition hall).

• Hiking 20 miles from the red rocks in Denver back to the city center.

If you were also at GPS, I hope you stopped by the APS Village to get APS merchandise, played the APS claw machine and learned more about everything APS has to offer. Maybe you even met me or my colleagues at the Membership Booth!

I want to express my deep gratitude towards Sarah Monk and Ilan Liebmann, who coordinate the Student Ambassador program. It was very nice meeting you guys and as always a pleasure working with you!

I feel deeply honored for being part of the 2025/2026 cohort of the APS Student Ambassador program. I would like to thank my fellow ambassadors Leonor AndradeCyrus WaltherMario GaimannJan WillekeJohn-Ryan Lawrence, FRASMukesh Kumar DasAsal YousefiDaria Teodora HaraborYiyi Wan, Zlatan Vasović and many more that volunteered together with me for their commitment and the great time we spent together.

Coming to an end, I want to thank the APS as organization, represented by Brad Marston (APS President) and Jonathan Bagger (APS CEO) for financing a substantial amount of my travel expenses and for being an inclusive and global environment for physicist and physics enthusiasts. #APS #GPS2026
