This post probably comes unexpected as my primary focus on this blog has always been my academic journey in physics. However, looking back at the last 12 months, there are also some other highlights. One of which I want to share here:
Besides my studies, I am working as Event Logistics Manager, which is a nice counterpart to my studies. This profession took me to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦). Some details regarding my work:
• The main objective was overseeing the logistics of a VIP catering area with 16 preparation kitchens, 2 scullery kitchens and one main kitchen operating 24h per day in two shifts
• For this I was managing an intercultural team of 15-20 people on a daily basis
• The daily throughput on guests has been 4000 on average and the event duration has been 5 days (excluding preparation days and dismantling days)
I am very grateful for the hospitality that I and my colleagues have experienced during our visit! Both professionally and culturally this has been a valuable experience for all of us.
