I'm excited to share that I've successfully defended my Bachelor Thesis two weeks ago! After three intensive months (and some late-night excesses in the lab), this concludes my three-year Bachelor's programme at Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg.

At the beginning of my studies, I would not have thought to what extent one's life could transform in such a short period of time. I have been very fortunate to meet a number of inspiring people and make new friends along this journey. One learning I would like to share here is that an incredible number of opportunities can open up as long as one goes open minded through daily life. Some of my most valuable experiences originated from casual phrases mentioned by my fellow students.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my entire working group. Without their detailed explanations and wide-ranging help, my project would never have been possible. I would like to particularly thank Prof. Dr. Lauriane Chomaz, who leads the Dysprosium Lab in Heidelberg and supported me in all situations in an extraordinarily helpful and committed manner.

Even though Heidelberg is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, my further education will take me down south to Munich. In approximately two weeks, I will begin my studies in Quantum Science & Technology at the TUM and the LMU. I am very excited to gain new experiences both professionally and privately in an international study environment!
